Hello. If you are looking over my website, chances are you might be looking for a contra dance caller, or perhaps "checking my references" to see if I might be qualified to call a dance for you or your group/organization, wedding/party, or barn dance. I've been a dancer since 1997, when I very accidentally came across contra dancing, and have been a dance lover since. I began calling in 2000, and have called all around the southeast. Wedding dances in open fields, and dances with kids are all part of the diversity I represent, and love. I am a very active part of my dance community in Chattanooga, TN. and have been for MANY years. Keeping my home group growing and strong has become very important to me over the years. Welcoming newcomers, and giving them confidence is my specialty. Dancers must have this to return to your dance and thrive. Being a dance gypsy has also become a big part of my life since I began dancing. I'm a familiar face at many dance weekends, and I'm told my enthusiasm as a caller is just as evident as when I'm dancing. There's not much more than I love to do. . . dance and call.
